This hazardous weather outlook is for central Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.


Outlook: Thunderstorms are possible late this evening into the
overnight. A few storms may be severe in the Wabash Valley.

Hazards: Gusty winds...hail...brief heavy rainfall and lightning.

Timing: After 11 PM.

Discussion: A few showers will impact the northwest half of central
Indiana through early afternoon. More widespread rain and
thunderstorms will spread into the region tonight ahead of a frontal
boundary. A few severe storms are possible over the Wabash Valley.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.


Outlook: Periodic thunderstorms will be possible at times Wednesday
through Memorial Day. Some of the storms could be strong.

Discussion: A frontal boundary will set up over the lower Great Lakes
Thursday...then meander across the region through the weekend. This
will provide a focus for periodic threats for strong thunderstorms.

Afternoon heat indices will reach the lower to middle 90s on Thursday
and Friday, especially for areas south of Interstate 70.
