The Illinois River at La Salle, or from Starved Rock Lock and Dam
downstream to confluence with Big Bureau Creek.
* until Saturday afternoon.
* At 945 AM Monday the stage was 23.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
late Saturday morning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY


Very warm and humid air will make a return to the area, with the
potential for heat indices Tuesday afternoon in the mid to upper 90s.

In addition to the increasing temperatures, there will be periodic
chances for showers and thunderstorms, especially by mid week. A
few storms may become severe, with damaging winds, north of
Interstate 80 Tuesday night, and then on Wednesday, strong to
severe storms are possible south of Interstate 80.
