This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Iowa, west central
Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, central South
Dakota, east central South Dakota, south central South Dakota and
southeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Flooding resulting from heavy rainfall last week will continue to be
an ongoing concern. Moderate to record river flooding is expected to
continue in the James, Vermillion and Big Sioux Rivers for several

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Scattered storms are expected Tuesday night into early Wednesday. The
risk of severe weather is low, however, an isolated storm may become
strong enough to produce large hail.

Additional storms are possible late this week, Friday into early
Saturday. These storms may bring a risk of severe weather, as well as
locally heavy rainfall which could exacerbate ongoing flooding.


Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
