This hazardous weather outlook is for South Florida.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT


Thunderstorms: Scattered to numerous thunderstorms will develop
across inland South Florida and spread towards the metro areas into
the early evening hours. Frequent lightning and heavy downpours will
be possible with any thunderstorms that develop. Stronger storms will
be capable of producing damaging wind gusts, small hail, and funnel
clouds.

Waterspouts: Waterspouts are possible across all South Florida
waters with any showers or storms that develop, especially this
morning across the Atlantic waters.

Flooding: Isolated street flooding will be possible, especially
across metro areas that experience repeated rounds of heavy
thunderstorms and slow moving storms with high rainfall rates.

Temperatures: Heat indices could climb to near 108 degrees this
afternoon across portions of South Florida.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY


Scattered thunderstorms are anticipated across South Florida each
afternoon, with the primary threat being localized flooding due to
heavy rainfall. Frequent lightning, locally strong wind gusts, and
potentially waterspouts may accompany the strongest storms that
develop. Heat indices of 101 to 107 are possible across portions of
South Florida each afternoon.

Widespread spotter activation is not anticipated, however individual
spotters are encouraged to report high wind, hail and flooding to
the National Weather Service forecast office in Miami. Please relay
any information about observed severe weather to the NWS while
following all local, state, and CDC guidelines.
