This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Afternoon heat index values could be around or a little above 100
degrees this afternoon over the southern portions of Arkansas.
However, temperatures are expected to be a little cooler as a cold
front approaches and moves through the state.

Showers and thunderstorms will be possible along and ahead of the
front later today into this evening. While the threat of severe
thunderstorms is relatively low at this time, there could be a
