This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of East Arkansas...
the Missouri Bootheel...North Mississippi...and West Tennessee.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A few strong to severe storms will be possible today and tonight.
Damaging winds and localized heavy rainfall are the main threats.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.


Spotter activation is not anticipated at this time.

The Flood Warning continues for the Mississippi River.


A followup Flood Statement will be issued Thursday or sooner if
conditions warrant.

For graphical river and flood information...please go to
www.weather.gov and click near Memphis on the map, then select Rivers
and Lakes.

Do not drive through flooded areas...turn around don`t drown.

Stay tuned to your weather radio and your local news media for the
latest river information.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Mississippi River at Memphis
* until Friday July 5.
* At 8 PM Wednesday the stage was 34.1 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Maximum forecast stage of 35.0 feet on Sunday June 30.
* Flood stage is 34.0 feet.
* The river rose above flood stage Wednesday June 26 and will
continue rising to near 35.0 feet by Sunday June 30. The river will
fall below flood stage Friday July 5.
* At 36.0 feet...In Tennessee, water is edging onto Fullen Dock Area.
Roads on the north side of the Loosahatchie River near its mouth
are beginning to flood. Riverside Park Marina begins to flood.
