THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

.RIP CURRENT IMPACT...
A long period easterly swell will impact the east Florida coast
today, generating a moderate rip current threat along area
beaches. The threat will be highest through 10:30 AM this morning
and after 4:00 PM this afternoon due to tidal influences.

Check with beach patrol for local conditions before swimming, swim
near a life guard tower, and never swim alone.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

Thunderstorm chances will increase Friday as a low pressure
center approaches from the Gulf of Mexico and pulls a weak cold
front through the Florida Peninsula. Storms may linger over the
Treasure Coast area into early evening before pushing offshore.

Boating conditions will be marginal to poor immediately ahead of
the front on Friday as winds increase out of the southwest at 15
to 20 knots. Conditions will remain marginal to poor Friday night
as winds veer to the northwest around 15 knots. Seas 3 to 4 feet
nearshore and 4 to 5 feet offshore.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation will not be needed today.
