accumulating snow and some icing. Conditions will very slowly
improve through Noon tomorrow. Strong north winds will result in
dangerous wind chill values in the single digits late tonight
and early Wednesday morning.

* WHERE...Areas south of the I-10 Corridor will experience a of
freezing rain before changing over to sleet and snow overnight,
whereas north of I-10 will be primarily snow.

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while
driving. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling
from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.

THURSDAY...

* TEMPERATURE...Dropping to the mid teens to around 20 degrees
tonight and again Wednesday night.

* IMPACTS...Sub-freezing temperatures could result in
hypothermia and will also be a danger for pets, livestock and

burst. If you have any exterior open air piping, ensure the pipes
are adequately covered and open the faucet slightly for a small
stream of water overnight.

Check on elderly neighbors to make sure they have adequate heat.
Area shelters should continue to expect increased demand. Outdoor
