This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest Iowa,
west central Iowa, east central Nebraska, northeast Nebraska, and
southeast Nebraska.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight
There is a marginal risk for severe weather tonight in northeast
Nebraska, northwest of a line from Albion to Wayne. If storms develop
this far east into our area, large hail and damaging winds would
be the hazards.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday
There is an enhanced risk for severe weather late Sunday afternoon
into Sunday night, again for northeast Nebraska, with a slight
risk as far south as Interstate 80. All modes of severe weather
are possible during this time, including locally heavy rainfall.
The earliest storm development time is in the late afternoon.
There is another enhanced risk for severe storms on Memorial Day
during the late afternoon and during the the night. And additional
storms will be possible Tuesday into Wednesday.
