This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Illinois and west
central Illinois.
.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.
Scattered thunderstorms are possible north of I-74 this morning and
are not expected to be severe. Strong to severe storms are possible
tonight across the area. These storms could produce isolated hail up
to 1 inch and scattered damaging winds up to 60 mph or higher.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.
No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation may be needed between 6 and 10 pm.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CDT TODAY...
* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of central Illinois and west central Illinois,
including the following counties, in central Illinois, Mason,
Peoria, Tazewell and Woodford. In west central Illinois, Fulton.
* WHEN...Until noon CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is
imminent.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 853 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Peoria, Pekin, Canton, Havana, Lewistown, East Peoria,
Morton, Washington, Bartonville, Chillicothe, Creve Coeur,
West Peoria, Metamora, Germantown Hills, Marquette Heights,
Farmington, Bellevue, Princeville, Rome and Manito.
