This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Illinois and west
central Illinois.
.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.
Thunderstorms are possible tonight across parts of central Illinois,
mainly northwest of a Macomb to Pontiac line. The storms could be
strong to severe with hail up to 1 inch the primary threat.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.
Occasional thunderstorms are possible Saturday through Monday night.
Isolated severe storms are possible Sunday into Sunday night, with
hail up to 1 inch the main threat. There is a better chance of severe
weather Monday night into Monday night, with damaging winds, large
hail, and isolated tornadoes possible. Locally heavy rainfall is also
possible Monday into Monday night.
There is a 20 to 50 percent chance of freezing temperatures Tuesday
night and Wednesday night that could damage sensitive early season
vegetation.

Spotter activation may be needed after 7 pm across areas northwest of
a Macomb to Pontiac line.
Expected storm motion is toward the east around 35 mph mph.
