...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH TO 6 PM MDT THIS

EVENING...

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight


Hot temperatures can be expected again today across the forecast
area with some low 100s over the plains. The heat advisory remains
in effect for the plains until 6:00 PM MDT. A Red Flag Warning is
also in effect for Park County through 9:00 PM MDT this evening
for critical fire weather conditions.

As a precaution, drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned
room, stay out of the sun, wear lightweight and loose fitting
clothing, limit strenuous activities to early morning or late
evening and take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion
and heat stroke.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday


Sunday`s high temperatures will be above seasonal normals, but
not as hot as today. A cold front is expected Sunday evening for
the forecast area. From Monday through Wednesday there will be
good chances of late day showers and thunderstorms along with
temperatures at or below seasonal normals. Thursday and Friday
look to warm up and dry out a bit.

Spotter activation will not be needed today and tonight, but
reports of any hail or gusty winds will be appreciated.
