This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the western two thirds of
Utah and southwest Wyoming.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

High pressure aloft over the intermountain region will bring
another day of hot temperatures to the outlook area. High
temperatures this afternoon will range from the 90s to low 100s.

Moisture across western Arizona will spread north across much of
western and southern Utah through tonight. High-based showers and
thunderstorms developing out of this moisture will generate gusty
winds, lightning and minimal rainfall through the overnight hours.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Moisture will cover much of the outlook area by Wednesday. The
moisture will be sufficient to bring scattered showers and
thunderstorms to much of the outlook area, with the potential for
locally heavy rain Wednesday afternoon and evening.

A drier westerly flow aloft will bring an end to most shower and
thunderstorm activity across the northern third of the outlook
area late in the week and through the upcoming weekend.

Deep layer moisture will remain across central and southern Utah
heading into the first half of the weekend. Showers and
thunderstorms, some of which could generate heavy rain, will be
possible Thursday through Saturday. Drier air across northern and
western Utah will filter through the remainder of the outlook
area on Sunday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Weather spotters are encouraged to report significant weather
conditions according to standard operating procedures.
