This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the western two thirds of
Utah and southwest Wyoming.

.DAY ONE...Tonight


Accumulating snow will continue in the mountains, with a mix of
rain and snow throughout the northern Utah valleys and into
southwest Wyoming.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday


Winter storm conditions will continue across much of the northern
half of the outlook area Friday through Saturday. Heavy snow is
expected for the northern mountains which will have a significant
impact on travel through Saturday. Valley locations will
transition to all snow by late Friday night, with snow continuing
into Saturday.

Colder air pouring into the area from the northwest will force
precipitation south into southern and central Utah beginning
Friday night and continuing the Saturday night. The heaviest
precipitation will settle into southern Utah with significant
snow accumulations possible across the southern mountains. Rain
or a rain snow mix is expected for the valleys, with a transition
to mainly snow late Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening.

Snow showers will continue across southern Utah, with cold
temperatures and lingering snow showers across the remainder of
the outlook area Sunday. High pressure aloft will bring dry
conditions back to the area by the middle of next week.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the morning or evening commutes.
