This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central
Louisiana, south central Louisiana, southwest Louisiana, west
central Louisiana, and southeast Texas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Potential for storms with torrential down pours with rainfall
rates between 1 and 2 inches per hour. This may lead to ponding of
water in poor drainage areas and urban street flooding. Also, the
storms may produce frequent cloud to ground lightning and gusty

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

A few storms with heavy rainfall, gusty winds, and frequent cloud
to ground lightning will be possible on Tuesday.

Rain chances will decrease Wednesday through Friday with max
afternoon heat index readings from 101F to 105F degrees.

Rain chances will increase again over the weekend, with occasional
cloud to ground lightning the main hazard.


Spotter activation will not be needed.
