This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Louisiana, south
central Louisiana, southwest Louisiana, west central Louisiana and
southeast Texas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms can be expected
this afternoon and early evening as a disturbance aloft near the
region interacts with increasing moisture. Occasional cloud to
ground lightning strikes and periods of heavy rain will accompany the
storms. No severe thunderstorms are expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Rain chances will continue to gradually climb into Tuesday as an
upper level disturbance sits near the area. Expect scattered to
numerous thunderstorms, especially in the afternoon, which will
pose the risk of frequent cloud to ground lightning and locally
heavy rainfall. Drier and cooler air moving in after a cold
frontal passage on Tuesday will result in mostly dry weather
Wednesday and Thursday, with rain chances increasing again Friday
as the front retreats back to the north.

At this time, no severe thunderstorms are expected.

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
