...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas...

Louisiana...

Sabine River At Logansport affecting De Soto, Shelby and Panola
Counties.

For the Sabine River...including Mineola, Logansport...Minor
flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY TOMORROW AFTERNOON...


* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Sabine River at Logansport.

* WHEN...Until early tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 28.0 feet, Expect lowland flooding problems of the
heavily wooded floodplain to continue for several days.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:45 AM CDT Friday the stage was 28.3 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 27.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:45 AM CDT Friday was 29.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
this evening and continue falling to 25.1 feet Wednesday
morning. However, additional rainfall likely this weekend
could cause at least additional minor rises next week.
- Flood stage is 28.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
28.4 feet on 12/28/1971.
