This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for North and Central Texas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

There is a chance of storms through tonight across much of the
region. A few storms may be strong with hail and frequent lightning.
Locally heavy rain may also cause minor flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Thunderstorm chances return to the region Tuesday night and continue
through the end of next week.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation is not expected at this time.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas...


Neches River Near Alto affecting Anderson, Houston, Trinity and
Cherokee Counties.

For the Neches River...including Lake Palestine, Neches, Alto,
Diboll, Rockland...Minor flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Neches River near Alto.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Expect moderate to severe flooding of the
heavily wooded floodplain. Boat ramps and picnic areas will be
completely inundated.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:15 PM CDT Friday the stage was 17.9 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:15 PM CDT Friday was 18.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 17.1 feet
Wednesday evening.
- Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
17.8 feet on 03/30/2018.
