Arkansas, southwest Arkansas, north central Louisiana, northwest
Louisiana, southeast Oklahoma, east Texas and northeast Texas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight...


No hazardous weather is expected through tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday...


Showers and thunderstorms will increase in coverage on Tuesday
as a cold front slowly moves southeast towards the area. Scattered
showers and thunderstorms will persist through Thursday as the
front becomes nearly stationary over the ArkLaTex.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Activation of emergency management personnel...amateur radio
operators...and storm spotters will not be needed through tonight.

the Sabine River Near Gladewater.
* until Wednesday morning...or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 12:15 PM Friday The stage was 31.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
Tuesday afternoon.
* Impact...at 32.0 feet...Lowland flooding will continue to slowly
decrease over the next several days.

the Sabine River At Longview.
* until further notice...or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 12:00 PM Friday The stage was 30.2 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to a stage of 29.5 feet
by tomorrow morning.
* Impact...at 31.0 feet...Flooding of river bottoms and lowlands will
slowly decrease during the next several days.

* until Wednesday evening...or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 11:45 AM Friday The stage was 28.6 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
* Impact...at 28.0 feet...Expect considerable lowland flooding on the
reach of the Sabine River from the Tatum through Beckville and
DeBerry areas with flooded boat ramps, gas and petroleum wells, and
even some low area cabins.
