...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY SATURDAY AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...Trinity River at Trinidad.
* WHEN...Until early Saturday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 40.0 feet, Moderate flooding will occur along the
right bank to agricultural fields and the cattle industry.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 39.9 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 33.0 feet.
- Flood stage is 33.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 40.1
feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
flood stage early Saturday morning.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for North and Central Texas.
.DAY ONE...Tonight.
A few storms will be possible along the Red River this afternoon and
tonight. Severe weather is not expected. The main threat will be from
lightning, though a few stronger storms could produce small hail and
gusty winds.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
Storm chances will continue through the rest of the week and into the
weekend. At a minimum, expect frequent lightning from any storms.
Severe weather chances will increase Friday and continue through
Sunday. Large hail and damaging winds will be the primary threats,
though there is a low chance for a tornado or two.
