This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of south central
Arkansas, southwest Arkansas, north central Louisiana, northwest
Louisiana, southeast Oklahoma, east Texas and northeast Texas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight...


No hazardous weather is expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday...


Scattered showers and thunderstorms will quickly develop starting
around midday Tuesday. Locally heavy rainfall and strong gusty
winds possible in stronger storms. For the remainder of the week,
daytime heating will lead to isolated to possible scattered
showers and thunderstorms to form, mainly in the afternoon and
evening each day, through next weekend. Some of the stronger
storms may produce locally gusty winds and brief, heavy rainfall
while localized flash flooding will be possible with slower moving
storms through this period.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Activation of emergency management personnel, amateur radio
operators, and storm spotters will not be needed through tonight.

The flood warning continues for
the Lake Fork Creek Near Quitman, Texas.
* until further notice...or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 9:15 AM Monday The stage was 17.1 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 16 feet.
* Forecast...The creek will continue to fall to a stage of 16.5 feet
by Tuesday morning. Also Lake Fork Creek crested at 18.4 feet
during this past weekend.
* Impact...at 16.0 feet...Expect minor lowland flooding problems.
Ranchers that may have cattle and equipment in the creek bottoms
should move them to higher ground.

* At 9:15 AM Monday The stage was 16.1 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 14 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 17.4 feet by
Wednesday early afternoon then begin falling.
* Impact...at 18.0 feet...Expect severe flooding with some barns
facing flooding. Preparations should be completed for moderate
flooding.

* At 9:15 AM Monday The stage was 23.9 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 26 feet.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by early Tuesday morning and
continue to rise to near 32.8 feet by early Saturday morning.
* Impact...Expect flooding very similar to what has occurred several
times earlier during this spring of 2019.
