This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the South Plains, Rolling
Plains, and the far Southern Texas Panhandle.
.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.
Warm, breezy and dry southwest winds may lead to occasional elevated
fire concerns this afternoon over the western South Plains and far
southwest Texas Panhandle.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.
Critical fire weather conditions are possible on Friday over the
South Plains and the far southern Texas Panhandle where a Fire
Weather Watch is in effect. Elevated to near critical fire weather
conditions are likely to continue across the area through Monday.
Thunderstorms will be possible on Sunday and Monday evenings mostly
for areas off the caprock.
