This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for east central Ohio, southwest
Pennsylvania, western Pennsylvania, and northern West Virginia.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.


Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.


There is a marginal risk for damaging wind, large hail, and isolated
tornado with showers and thunderstorms along passing cold front
Wednesday afternoon and evening.

In addition, any thunderstorm that produces locally heavy rain may
pose a flash flood risk, especially in locations with prior saturated
grounds as well as low-lying, flood-prone areas.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around and find an
alternative route.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL WEDNESDAY EVENING...


* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Ohio River at Pittsburgh.

* WHEN...Until Wednesday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Water begins to flow onto the Monongahela
Parking Wharf.
At 19.0 feet, Water begins to flow onto the North Shore riverwalk
between the stadiums.
At 19.5 feet, The Monongahela Parking Wharf is completely flooded.
At 20.0 feet, Water is up to one foot deep in the lower areas of
the North Shore Riverwalk.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:30 PM EDT Monday the stage was 19.5 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 18.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 16.6 feet
Saturday evening.
- Action stage is 18.0 feet.
- Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
