DISCUSSION...
Breezy conditions, especially across northeast Oklahoma, will
continue through this evening. Wind gusts will strengthen further
after midnight, upwards of 30 mph for portions of northeast OK and
15-25 mph elsewhere. These breezy conditions will contribute to a
limited fire weather potential. Skies will be mostly clear
outside of some areas of smoke.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
Spotter Activation Not Expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

FRIDAY...High Wind Potential.
SATURDAY...High Wind Potential.
SUNDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...High Wind Potential.
MONDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...High Wind Potential.
TUESDAY...High Wind Potential.
WEDNESDAY...No Hazards.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Fire weather concerns will increase significantly Friday,
especially across northeast Oklahoma, with gusty south winds,
warm temperatures, and low humidity values. Increasing high level
cloud cover may somewhat offset these otherwise favorable
conditions. Moisture will increase over the weekend, and winds
will not be quite as strong, which will temper fire weather
concerns to some degree.

Thunderstorm chances return late Sunday night and Monday, with an
increasing potential for severe storms Monday afternoon and
evening as a cold front moves into the area from the northwest.
All severe weather hazards will be possible at this time.
