This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Iowa...southeast Minnesota...and southwest into west central
Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight


Flooding continues along portions of the Mississippi River and
the lower Wisconsin River.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday


Flooding will continue along portions of the Mississippi River.

Accumulating snow is possible on Saturday with several inches of
accumulation possible. Snowfall rates may be high enough for
roads to become slush or snow covered leading to hazardous travel.

.Flooding continues along much of the Mississippi River from Lake
City Minnesota to below Guttenberg Iowa.

River forecasts take into account both observed and forecast
precipitation.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars into flooded areas. Remember, it only takes two
feet of water to float most automobiles, including sport utility
vehicles. Turn Around, Don`t Drown!

The Flood Warning continues for
The Mississippi River at Winona.
* until further notice...Or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 2:45 AM Thursday the stage was 16.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to a stage of 16.2 feet
by Friday morning.
* Impact...At 16.6 feet...Lock and Dam 6 goes out of operation.
