This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight


Light snow accumulations of 2-4 inches is expected into Saturday
in the Borderlands and Minnesota Arrowhead with lesser amounts
elsewhere. A glaze of ice will also be possible with higher
amounts of a tenth to a quarter of an inch possible along the
North Shore and into portions of Northwest Wisconsin, where a
Winter Weather Advisory is in effect.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday


Light snow and mixed precipitation possible Saturday morning.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Snow spotters are requested to report precipitation type, and
measurements of snow or ice accumulations tonight to the National
Weather Service. Spotters and the public can also report
precipitation type with the free M-PING smartphone app.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO

10 AM CDT SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations of
up to three inches and ice accumulations of around one tenth of
an inch.

* WHERE...Southern Lake and Southern Cook Counties. This
includes the Tribal Lands of the Grand Portage Reservation.

* WHEN...From 9 PM this evening to 10 AM CDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions.
