Brief heavy snow showers will affect the region through this
evening. These snow showers will briefly but suddenly reduce
visibility to under one half of a mile. If you are traveling,
prepare for suddenly changing weather conditions.

...BRIEF HEAVY SNOW SHOWERS THIS AFTERNOON IN PORTIONS OF
NORTHWEST AND WEST CENTRAL MINNESOTA...
Brief periods of heavy snow will affect portions of northwest and
west-central Minnesota this afternoon. This will lead to sudden
reductions in visibility under half a mile, and may bring quickly
accumulating snow up to 1 inch.
This may impact the afternoon commute. Persons and vehicles
across this area should prepare for suddenly deteriorated travel
conditions. If you are traveling, reduce your speed and turn on
headlights. Don`t use cruise control, and don`t slam on the
brakes.
