This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.


Weather hazards expected...

Limited lightning risk.
Limited non thunderstorm wind risk.

DISCUSSION...

Gusty winds up to 20-30mph are possible ahead of an incoming cold
front, which will bring scattered showers and a possible crack or
two of thunder as it moves into the area. The rain chances with
this system are 50-70% northeast of Springfield (mainly along the
I-44 corridor) and 20-45% elsewhere, decreasing to the south and
west.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.



Higher chances of showers and thunderstorms, 40 to 80 percent
chances, return Thursday and Friday. Some strong to severe
thunderstorms may be possible on Friday. Shower and storm chances
could linger into next weekend.

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
