This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated hail risk.
Elevated thunderstorm wind damage risk.
Limited flooding risk.
Elevated lightning risk.


An area of diminishing showers and thunderstorms over the
eastern Ozarks will continue to push east. Instability is
expected to increase ahead of a cold front this afternoon with
redevelopment of thunderstorms and the potential of some strong
to severe weather. Hail to the size of half dollars and wind
gusts up to 60 mph will be possible with the stronger storms
over the eastern Ozarks, mainly during the afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Heat index values on Friday may approach the 100 to 105 degree
range. Additional showers and storms will again return to the
area by the Saturday night.


Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
