This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated flooding risk.
Elevated lightning risk.
Limited non thunderstorm wind risk.


Showers and thunderstorms will continue to track across portions
of south central Missouri at times through much of the day. One to
three inches of rainfall are expected across far south central
Missouri with locally higher amounts possible through early this
evening. This rainfall may lead to the flooding of creeks,
streams, and low water crossings.

Gusty northerly winds up to 30 mph will occur at times today.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

An unsettled period is expected from late Sunday into the middle
portion of next week. Several chances for thunderstorms will exist
during the period.


Spotter activation is not expected to be needed through tonight.
