This hazardous weather outlook is for northwest Kansas and east
central Colorado.
.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...
Patchy to locally dense fog tonight will be possible across western
Kansas and extreme eastern Colorado.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...
A Red Flag Warning has been issued for Greeley County and a Fire
Weather Watch remains for counties generally along and west of
Highway 25 and along and south of Interstate 70. Low relative
humidity and wind gusts near 40 MPH will increase fire danger.
Severe weather also is possible Thursday across most of the area. The
SPC has placed locations along and south of I-70 and east of Highway
25 in an Enhanced risk. Large to very large hail and significant tornadoes
are the main threats.
Thursday afternoon may see patches of blowing dust, mainly near and
south of the Interstate 70 corridor.
