...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT THROUGH LATE

WEDNESDAY NIGHT...

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.


Outlook: Patchy fog through midday. Rain will mix with or changeover
to snow late tonight.

Hazards: Reduced visibilities in fog. Light snow accumulations late
tonight...especially over the northern Wabash Valley.

Timing: Fog through midday. Snow developing late tonight and early
Wednesday.

Discussion: Rain will continue at times...gradually mixing with and
in some locations...changing over to snow late tonight and early
Wednesday.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.


Outlook: Precipitation will continue through Wednesday night
primarily in the form of snow. Snow accumulations are possible
through Wednesday night. Much colder air will move in for late week.

Discussion: Snow will impact north central Indiana Wednesday and
Wednesday night with accumulations possible. Colder air will move in
with wind chills in the single digits above zero possible during the
mornings Thursday through Saturday.

Spotters are encouraged to report snowfall totals late tonight
through Wednesday night.

...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT THROUGH LATE

WEDNESDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 5
inches possible by Wednesday night.

* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, north central and
west central Indiana.

* WHEN...From late tonight through late Wednesday night.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Wednesday evening commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...the highest snowfall totals are expected
near and north of a Crawfordsville to Muncie line. Surface and
ground temperatures at or just above freezing may limit snowfall
accumulations a bit through Wednesday afternoon before
temperatures fall.
