This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern
Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...Tonight


Areas of dense fog will reduce visibilities to less than one
quarter mile overnight into early Wednesday morning across
portions of southeast Missouri, southern Illinois, southwest
Indiana, and western Kentucky. Please refer to the Dense Fog
Advisory for more details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday


A daily chance of thunderstorms is forecast Friday through Monday.
On Sunday, the thunderstorms may be strong to severe. Otherwise,
lightning, gusty winds, and locally heavy rain will be the primary
thunderstorm hazards.

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in

Indiana...Kentucky...Illinois...

Ohio River at Mount Vernon, J.T. Myers Dam, and Shawneetown.

.Minor flooding is occurring along the lower Ohio River, but the
river is falling and is forecast to fall below flood stage Wednesday
at all minor flood locations.

For the Ohio River...including Mount Vernon, J.T. Myers Dam,
Shawneetown...Minor flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Wabash River at New Harmony.

.Recent heavy rains caused minor flooding on the Wabash River at New
Harmony. The river has already crested, and is falling. It is
forecast to fall below flood stage this evening.

For the Wabash River...including New Harmony...Minor flooding is
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
