Limited Thunderstorm Risk late tonight.

DISCUSSION...

An area of thunderstorms will likely develop to our west tonight. A few
of these storms may get into the I-39 corridor very late tonight, though
confidence is not high on if the storms will make it that far east. Heavy rain
would be the main hazard.

downstream to Red Gate Road in St. Charles.

* At 630 PM Tuesday the stage was 11.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.5 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 11.4 feet by
Wednesday morning then begin falling.
* Impact...At 11.5 feet...Residences threatened along Oceola Drive in
Algonquin. Jayne Street and Beach Drive threatened in Algonquin.

* At 600 PM Tuesday the stage was 13.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will remain near 13.6 feet.
* Impact...At 13.5 feet...Low-lying parking lots at city hall and Boy
Scout Island are threatened in St. Charles. Fox River Trail is
threatened at St. Mary Park in St. Charles.
