This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Iowa.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight

Isolated non-severe thunderstorms this morning. Windy this
afternoon with gusts approaching 40 mph possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Warm and humid weather builds into Tuesday with peak afternoon
heat indices of 95 to 100 degrees. Thunderstorm chances then increase
across northern Iowa by the evening and spread south overnight
into early Wednesday. Some of the storms may be severe north with
damaging wind and large hail possible.

Intermittent chances for thunderstorms also stay in the forecast
into the weekend. The severe weather and heavy rain potential for
these days will be better determined in the coming days.


Spotter reports may be needed Tuesday evening.
