.NOW...
Areas of light rain will continue through 4 am with scattered
heavier showers developing after midnight near the Treasure Coast.
A few lightning storms may also develop across the Atlantic
waters and near the Martin county coast. Locally heavy rainfall
may develop along coastal Martin county where some roads are still
closed in the eastern part of the county due to flood waters from
heavy rainfall over the last two days. Low temperatures later
tonight will drop into the lower 70s.

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.


.FLOOD IMPACT...
A disturbance aloft and increasing low level southeast flow along with
deep moisture will initiate scattered heavier showers and
isolated storms from late evening through the overnight. Recent
heavy rainfall across eastern Martin county will heighten the risk
for additional flooding later tonight from Stuart and Port
Salerno to Hobe Sound. Motorists should be especially cautious
at night as the hazard from flood waters is difficult to recognize.

.THUNDERSTORM IMPACT...
Isolated lightning storms will bring gusty winds, a few cloud to
ground lightning strikes and the threat of heavy rainfall amounts
of one to two inches and up to three inches in areas that see
repeated showers and storms.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

Numerous showers and isolated to scattered lighting storms are
expected through the remainder of this week, the upcoming weekend,
and into early next week. Deadly cloud to ground lightning strikes,
localized flooding from heavy rainfall, and gusty winds will be
the primary storm threats. There will also be a Moderate threat
for dangerous rip currents will in the surf zone.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation will not be needed tonight. Rainfall spotters
should report rainfall amounts over two inches or observed
flooding.
