This hazardous weather outlook is for South Florida.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT


Thunderstorms: Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible
across South Florida overnight tonight, mainly over the Atlantic
waters and east coast metro. The main hazards are lightning and heavy
downpours.

Flooding: Localized street flooding in the metro areas of both
southeast and southwest Florida is possible overnight tonight with
any stronger storms that produce localized heavy downpours.

Waterspouts: There is a slight chance of waterspouts across all South
Florida waters.

Rip Currents: There is a moderate risk of rip currents for the
Atlantic beaches overnight tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY


Thunderstorm coverage is forecast to increase across South Florida
this weekend along with heavy rainfall, before returning to more of a
typical summer time weather pattern next week. Lightning and some
street flooding are possible with the storms this weekend.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Widespread spotter activation is not anticipated. However, individual
spotters are encouraged to report high wind, hail and flooding to
the National Weather Service forecast office in Miami.
