counties this afternoon as south winds begin to increase and
humidity values fall to near 30 percent.

South winds will continue to increase overnight, with a few gusts
approaching 30 miles an hour after midnight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

FRIDAY and SATURDAY...High Wind Potential.
SUNDAY and MONDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...High Wind Potential.

WEDNESDAY...No Hazards.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Fire weather concerns will increase significantly Friday,
especially across northeast Oklahoma, with gusty south winds,
warm temperatures, and low humidity values. Increasing high level
cloud cover may somewhat offset these otherwise favorable
conditions. Moisture will increase over the weekend, and winds
will not be quite as strong, which will temper fire weather
concerns to some degree.

Thunderstorm chances return late Sunday night and Monday, with an
increasing potential for severe storms Monday afternoon and
evening as a cold front moves into the area from the northwest.
All severe weather hazards will be possible at this time.
