DISCUSSION...
Gusty south winds will continue ahead of a cold front that is
expected to move into northeast Oklahoma late this afternoon.
A low chance for showers and thunderstorm development exists this
evening and into the overnight, as the boundary pushes southward,
eventually into southeast Oklahoma.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
An active weather pattern is expected from the middle of the work
week into the weekend. Several rounds of strong to severe storms
are expected, including locally heavy rainfall. The highest
chances for severe weather are forecast for Friday and Saturday.
Depending on how things evolve in the coming days, there is
potential for high-impact severe weather, including tornadoes.
Thunderstorm chances will persist into Sunday with a continued
threat for severe weather, mainly across southeast Oklahoma and
northwest Arkansas.

Continue to closely monitor the latest forecast concerning the
severe weather potential this week, especially Friday and
