AREA...Northeast Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas.

DISCUSSION...
A scattered to broken line of thunderstorms is expected to develop
this afternoon along a cold front that will sweep southeast across
the area. A few of these storms will likely become severe, with
large hail and damaging winds being the main severe weather
threats. A very low but non-zero tornado threat may also develop
across far eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. The severe
weather threat is expected to end by near or shortly after sunset.

Gusty north winds will follow the passage of the cold front, with
gusts over 30 miles an hour possible across parts of northeast
Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Showers and a few thunderstorms are expected to redevelop across
mainly southeast Oklahoma and west central Arkansas late Friday
through Saturday as the frontal boundary stalls to the south of
the area. Additional thunderstorm chances will return late Monday
night and Tuesday as another cold front moves into the area.
Unsettled weather is then expected to persist through at least
the middle of next week.
