Including the cities of Aniak, Sleetmute, Bethel, Hooper Bay,
Nunivak Island, King Salmon, Dillingham, Naknek, and Pilot Point

Thunderstorms have developed this afternoon across the Lower
Kuskokwim Valley and are slowly moving to the south. Some of these
storms are strong and are producing hail, brief wind gusts, locally
heavy downpours as well as a lot of cloud to ground lightning.
While pea sized hail is expected out of many of these storm, a few
stronger ones may produce hail the size of nickels. Thunderstorms
will diminish later this evening and are expected to remain north
of Dillingham.
