Hot Events in Chilly January for Hot Air Balloon Lovers

This is their third annual event that has become a hot ticket for the new year! In breaking news this month, in California a young couple decided to get married in a hot air balloon this January 7, 2013, but things didn’t quite go as planned. Shortly after Jonathan and Kerin Narcisse said their “I do’s” strong gusts kicked up, sending the basket with the bride and groom and wedding party swinging like a pendulum before crashing into a private fence in San Diego. Thankfully, all 11 people survived with only minor cuts and bruises and the go getter couple says they would do it all again if given the chance! In another incident on January 15, 2013, in Melbourne, Australia, a freak set of tradewinds blows two sight seeing groups off course and force an emergency landing in Brighton Landing in the Port Philip Bay neighborhood. All people were unharmed and kudos went out to the pilots for their quick thinking in the emergency!
